List of  Best Shopping Destinations in Cambridge

Following is the list of shopping markets in the city centre. These are the spots where you can visit with your family, kids or friends to do a shoe shop, pet shop, etc., at your leisure at a reasonable price and enjoy good food.

1. Rose Crescent

Market Street and Trinity Street are two shopping centres connected by walking the well-liked shopping district known as Rose Crescent in the city’s centre.

Although the shopping market is only 100 meters long, the walkway is lined with numerous independent shops that sell various items, including clothing, jewellery, perfume, souvenirs, and more.

For artisan jewellery, visit Cellini; for vintage clothing and accessories, visit Fantasia; or for Harry Potter-related items, visit Magical Gifts. If you need a break, stop by Gardenia for a Greek-style kebab or Pinch for coffee. In addition, you can also visit the Cambridge Gin Company, Neal’s Yard, Jo Malone, and Molton Brown for a great shopping experience.

Cambridge Market Square is a centuries-old outdoor market in the Middle Ages. However, locals have gone here to stock up on food and beverages.

Also, if you’re looking for locally produced food or specialty items, the historic market is a great place to shop.

Local artists and craftspeople sell secondhand books, fresh produce, handmade jewellery, and other goods in plenty on the plaza.

Furthermore, if you become hungry or need a break from shopping to eat something, many cafes and restaurants are nearby.

Try The Earth’s Crust’s almond croissants, Shelley & Sarah’s egg and bacon roll, or Eastern European Cuisine’s freshly cooked Russian dumplings.

In the city centre, Trinity Street is a row of stores. Indeed, a variety of UK clothing retailer stores are available there, such shops as TOAST, Sweaty Betty, and Seasalt Cornwell.

Nonetheless, there is no better place to find a book to read than the 19th-century Heffers Bookshop. One of the biggest booksellers in the city, it provides presents in addition to readers in all genres.

The Cambridge University Press Bookshop, which is located on the site of England’s first bookstore, is indeed a must-see attraction.

4. Green Street

It is a small, walkable street where you can find good places for free gin and custom hats.

Also, great independent retailers can be found in the city on Green Street, a cobbled and welcoming street that serves good food for both coffee shops and pedestrians.

Furthermore, for both men and women, Laird Hatters offers handcrafted hats and caps with current designs influenced by Scottish and English history.

In fact, at OSKA Cambridge, you may peruse the racks for stylish designer items. Harriet Kelsall Bespoke Jewellery offers handcrafted, custom-made engagement rings, dresses and jewellery if you want something distinctive.

Also, visit the renowned Cambridge Gin Laboratory, which offers a variety of gin-related classes in a hands-on environment.

You can also acquire the skills of a gin connoisseur; however, make your gin-based drinks under the guidance of gin experts or purchase a bottle to take home.

The mall is home to more than 120 stores and eateries. The Cheesecake Factory, P.F. Chang’s China Bistro, and World of Beer offer casual dining options.

You may also get a quick snack at the Food Court and continue shopping afterwards.
