Some of the hikes mentioned here might even take days to complete. You might also have to stay in a tent for a day or two. But despite it all, these are some of the best places you will ever encounter.

1. Hadrian’s Wall Path

If you are interested in visiting ancient monuments and exploring the remains of ancient places, you will surely love this place.

This trek stretches over 73 miles in the northern region of England.

This is an enormous, wide wall that is also one of the most distinct ancient monuments of England. The main purpose of building this wall was to ensure that the Romans were separated from the Barbarians.

The monument has also been placed on the list of Unesco World Heritage sites. The road beside it is one of the trickiest paths on which to trek. This stretch of land is signified by a lot of ancient monuments. People who have an interest in history will surely love this place.

2. Southwest Coast Path, Cornwall

This amazing hiking trail is one of the best on the list. It stretches over an area of 630 miles and also has a lot of twistings and turnings along the way. The Southwest Coast Path gets really busy during the summer, but you can still find some places to refresh.

You can see turquoise water, sandy beaches, cliffs and many other natural landscapes on the way.  There are also a lot of other interesting factors, like wildflowers and dolphins, that you will surely encounter on your way to this trail.

3. The Quiraing, Isle of Skye

Quiraing is one of the most distinct landscapes in the northern region of Skye. This place is also famous as it is home to some of the most bizarre but beautiful formations of rocks.

It is very popular among photographers and geologists worldwide. This is because it is one of the best landscapes for photography and research.

The best way to complement this place’s natural beauty is to hike. Make sure to carry all your hiking gear, as the route is very tricky.

The Quiraing hiking route is a 4-mile short climb that starts at the village of Staffin or Uig, and the trail is fairly flat for much of the way as you start off high up the mountain. The road is adjacent to some of the most amazing views that the UK has to offer.

4. South Downs Way, Hampshire to East Sussex

This hiking trail extends over an area of around 100 miles. It also offers some of the best landscapes as a gift on the way. The route is loaded with wildlife, watering holes, and white cliffs.

The route is believed to begin in Winchester, the first capital of England. On the way to Eastbourne, you will encounter several beautiful landscapes.

Make sure you have about a week’s worth of time to spare because this hike takes 8 to 11 days to complete.

5. Scafell Pike, Lake District

Scafell is the tallest mountain in England. The best part about this hiking trail is that you will be able to choose your personal tour guide. This person will be able to help you in exploring each and every corner of this place.

Apart from that, you will also be able to see a lot of crowds in this area during the peak season. This is because Scarfell Pike is one of the most distinct places in England. People from all around the world come to witness the beauty of the largest mountain range in England.

The hike covers an area of about 978 meters and is filled with immense natural beauty. On the way, you will spot lakes, valleys, and other natural attractions.

Make sure to bring your friends and family members along who are equally interested in hiking as you. You are going to have a great time for sure.
