Winters can be exhausting, and having a beach day in the warmth of the sun can fix a lot. Now, without further ado, let’s go through a list of the best places that can help you enjoy the sunny days and get a break from your regular life!

8 Hot Places Which You Should Definitely Visit in March

1. Thailand

Phuket and many more places in Thailand are tempted to be visited at least once in life. In March, the average temperatures are from 26°C – 33°C. Phuket is known for its colorful nightlife, beaches, and Big Buddha. It is one of the places where you can have a beach holiday, a spiritual experience, a fun party, a good tan, and religious uplifting.

The thing to keep in mind while visiting the Big Buddha is to wear covered clothes, or you can also take clothes from outside the temple where they sell lungi (a cloth for draping around the waist) and shrugs for women to cover arms.

The sunny weather of March in Thailand is also best for Island hopping and swimming.

2. Caribbean

The Caribbean is known for its affordability and thus means a budget-friendly vacation. The average temperature in the Caribbean is from 25°C to 30°C for warm and sunny weather but you can also visit the Caribbean in May, June, and November to have a marvelous experience as it is the peak season for tourism.

It is a combination of sun, sandy beaches, and serendipity. It is one of the best places for snorkelers and scuba divers. Barbados in the Caribbean is a popular destination known for its clean beaches, festivals, food and drinks, history and culture, nature, and nightlife. It is also a good place to visit with family or with your significant other to have a romantic experience.

3. Cancun

Cancun, being the party capital of Mexico, has a vibrant nightlife. It is one of the most popular destinations among youngsters. Other than its nightlife, Cancun is also known for its bluest-watered beach and ancient runes.

It can be called a tropical paradise. One of the popular destinations to visit is Cancun Scenic Tower, which is a ride that takes you up to 80km high and allows you to see the best view of Cancun. People also enjoy swimming at nearby cenotes which is a natural underground reservoir of water.

Cancun is divided into two parts – Downtown and Hotel zone. The downtown area is best to enjoy the local culture and enjoy street food at reasonable rates. One must visit the downtown area to see the real Cancun.

4. Jaipur, India

The pink city of India, Jaipur, is one of the most beautiful places to visit during the March holidays. In India, March marks the beginning of the summer; thus, you will also witness a slight hint of winter sun in Jaipur during March.

Now, compared to other countries we have talked about, India is more of a historical site than a beach site. Jaipur is very rich in Indian culture and is surrounded by a rich history and ancient structures. Jaipur also depicts a part of the Rajasthani culture of India.

One cannot get over the poetry, handcraft, clothes, markets, and buildings of Jaipur. It is called the pink city as most of the markets and houses are made of pink bricks/paint. You should also visit the temples famous in Jaipur where you can see the religious aspects of India.

Jaipur is one of the sunniest destinations in India, and thus, March is the best time to visit when there is light sunny weather so you can travel with ease. This city is a completely different experience altogether and can turn out to be a perfect time.

5. Las Vegas

The city of Las Vegas is popular for gambling in its casinos and bars, but the city itself is a piece of art and has various tourist attractions instead of gambling and is hot in March.

Las Vegas also has many shows and concerts from time to time and is also the best place to have a spa and salon experience.

6. Maldives

Maldives is the most famous spot for a honeymoon or for couples to have a romantic getaway. To reach the Maldives, you will have to come to Velana International Airport, as all the major flights come and go from here. In Maldives, you will find that there is a bigger tourist population than residents.

The average temperature during March is 28°C, and it is the ideal place for water sports, snorkeling, diving, surfing, and spa treatments. There are so many resorts that offer packages at a minimum price, which makes Maldives a great vacation spot.

Most of the resorts are built around the beach, and you can see the beach right from your balcony. This is the time to take a beach holiday with your bae and reasonable yet beautiful hotels.

7. San Diego

San Diego is in California and is known for its wildlife and beaches. San Diego is the exact example of where it is hot in March, for the average temperature here is just warm and not a wrenching heat.

Other than this, San Diego also has an underwater marine park and sanctuary called La Jolla Cove, where you can see all types of fish and marine animals you might have never seen before. One who comes here should also see the Coronado Bridge and the view of San Diego. You might also want to carry a light jacket here.

8. Portugal

This March holiday season, take your family to the city of amazing architecture and amazing museums. The small cities in Portugal are the ones that get most of the tourism.

There are also a few other towns that are quite famous for their calmness and architecture. Many castles around Portugal display the history of the country. There are beaches along the southern coast of Portugal.

Portugal has it all packed in the little country it is. The beaches, the architecture, the art, the books and the people. The people of Portugal will welcome you with such grace and kindness that you wouldn’t want to leave the beauty behind.

Final Note

So, now you know where it is hot in March, and these summer months are meant for a trip along the beaches, history, and architecture. The art, the music, the culture, the history, the places, the beaches, and the experiences you gather stay with you forever, and as you must have heard, life is too short to waste on useless things.
