1. Tiergarten

Tiergarten, situated in the city’s heart, is a 210-hectare park. It has statues and lakes, making it the perfect candidate for a calm day out. The park also attracts a wide array of wildlife, including birds, ducks, and small squirrels.
We can find the statue of Queen Louise and a monument dedicated to Frederick Wilhelm III. The best thing about this park is that you won’t hear the traffic even though it’s in the city. 2. Mauerpark
Mauerpark is one of the greatest attractions to Berliners and tourists, especially on Sundays, when a flea market sells various goods. There will also be plenty of good food and cultural events on Sundays, so be sure you’re here on this festive day. This park is situated on the former borders of East and West Berlin. The name translates to ‘Wall Park’ due to its position between the former borders.
The park can sometimes be crowded and confusing, making you wonder if it’s a park. The grassy outdoors is perfect for picnics or light reading. If you walk up the hill, you will find pretty graffiti.
A quick tip: The people selling beer to you while sitting on the grass are cheaper than those you find in food stalls.
3. Treptower Park
This beauty lies along the River Spree and is the second-largest park in Berlin, with 84 hectares. It also has a Soviet War Memorial, which is worth a visit.

4. Viktoriapark
Viktoriapark has a vineyard, a waterfall, plenty of cafes, a park, a beer garden, and a national monument.
The best time to visit is spring and summer since the waterfall is ethereal. The National Monument is in the middle of the city so that you will have a perfect view of the surroundings from it.
If you’re in the mood for some statue hunting, you can find several hidden sculptures here and there. It is the perfect green oasis in Berlin’s concrete jungle.
5. Volkspark Friedrichshain
This is Berlin’s oldest park and is still on the list of the best parks in Berlin. Admission is free, and it is kid and pet-friendly. There are plenty of opportunities for recreational activities.
The park also hosts plenty of cafes serving delightful food. This park will be a haven for art lovers due to its numerous monuments and sculptures. The beautiful Fountain of Fairy Tales is the main character among them.
Grilling is allowed in the reserved areas. However, they have to be booked in advance and aren’t free of charge. It is one of the safest parks, as we can see the police patrolling every 10-15 minutes.
6. Garten der Welt or The Gardens of the World
Garten der Welt is perfect for art lovers. Stroll through this garden, and you’ll find beautifully crafted theme parks. This place is certainly not for the faint-hearted because it will take plenty of calories to cover the whole park. Be sure to visit on a sunny, fun day.
They have a cable car option, which enables you to get a bird’ s-eye view of the garden. Do check that out. The landscaped gardens will make you feel like you’re on a world tour. You’re also free to go on picnics in the grass.
