Over the world, winter is a typical month of vacation, and it happens to be a lot of homo sapiens’ favourite for the celebration of Christmas that takes place.

We know many of you want to find places warm or hot to walk freely in your shorts without worrying about freezing. Many of you prefer to have a sunny Christmas this time.

1. Jamaica, The Caribbean Country

Jamaica is renowned for its sunny weather and friendly people. Its distinct culture, affordability, environment, cuisine, and everything else have made it one of the most favoured destinations in the Caribbean.

The winter temperature is often in the mid-20s to 30s, which is excellent if you want to explore the region without wearing heavy thermal jackets.

1.1. Things To Do In Jamaica

You might have seen many ultra-precious waterfalls, but have you ever witnessed anything as glorious and heavenly as The YS Falls? It’s a chain of waterfalls that offers visitors a scenic view and a swimming spot.

The fare will be mentioned on their official site. Make sure to check it out and decide if you want to go.

We want to inform you that Bob Marley, a musical legend, belongs to Jamaica. You can learn more about him by booking tickets to the Bob Marley Mausoleum.

Martha Brae River is often not mentioned at the top of most Jamaican attractions. Visitors use the Martha Brae River for rafting, swimming, and other normal water activities. You can also hike if you do not wish to enter the tranquil river.

As you already know, it’s Christmas, and in any part of the world, Christmas comes with many events. There is no better time to enjoy their traditional festivals while staying warm in Jamaica than in winter.

Make a well-researched list of the festivals, music events and other events that will take place during this time and plan your trip accordingly.

We don’t know about the food tasting if you already know this, but Jamaican Christmas dinners are pretty popular. The people of Jamaica cook them in their authentic styles using different edible meat.

2. The Island Of Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka is another beautiful country to visit if you want a qualitative experience paired with affordable expenses.

The weather is also highly favourable if you plan to visit. Can you guess how humid it would be during your trip?

Again, like the previous country, Sri Lanka’s winter temperature is in the 20s. The cooler temperatures are close to 18°C.

2.1. Things To Do In Sri Lanka

Visit the Royal Botanical Gardens of Peradeniya to satisfy your desire to see different colours and explore the variety of plants there.

Some plants and trees are carved beautifully, and some plants and flowers are indigenous to the country; the park is also relatively huge, providing great space for exploration.

A connective, fairytale-like Bridge is situated between two hills. Popularly known as the Nine Arch Bridge, it is a path for the railways to cross over.

The position of the bridge and the greens around its ends give the illusion that the bridge is floating or in the sky, hence where the nickname “Bridge in the Sky” originates.

Adam’s Peak (Sri Pada) is incredibly popular among Asian religious pupils. But for some time now, nonbelievers, travellers, history and geography enthusiasts have also developed a deep interest in the mountain.

Even though the main attraction of this place is the footprint that has gained the respect of different religions, the mountain offers a kind of energy and vibe that you’ll know you need but don’t realise.

Go to the Galle Fort, which is enormous and has the touch of the Portuguese, Dutch, and British.

The beaches especially take up a whole different view. You can go to Bentota Beach and have a calm and soothing day without much noise. Its serenity is what you prefer.

Turtle Beach, and by the name, you might have guessed it. You can touch and feed the turtles here; you might want to experience it.

3. Broome, A Town in Australia

Although Broome is a town in Australia, it is trendy for its pearling activities. You might also have seen many pictures on the web showing the waters meeting seemingly red sand.

This is the scene in Broome, and you can visit this place in December while enjoying warmer weather of 30°C.

Dinosaur Footprints are a great attraction in this town. When the sea is at low tide, you can witness the large dinosaur footprints along the Kimberley Sea.

Pearling activities are the most renowned in this beautiful town, which is still one of the finest producers of pearls in the world.

This activity is more practised in the Northwestern parts of the country. You can research it further and take a pearling tour in the area.

There’s a park exceptionally dedicated to the crocodiles of Australia.

Malcolm Douglas Crocodile Park is a crocodile park where you can see the gigantic Saltwater Crocodile. Not just this, but you will also witness some other breeds.

Horizontal Falls is one of the rarest phenomenons in the world, and being in Broome gives you the ultimate chance to visit the area and experience the uniqueness that comes along with it.

You might not see a horizontal waterfall in most parts of the world. Therefore, it is a matter of honour if you plan to visit the place.

4. Great Activities in Colombia

You might have seen Colombia making headlines as a country with abundant wildlife, adventure, culture, and fun. For a change, you should consider going to this country this Christmas season.

You must have seen a lot of Cathedrals in your life, but have you ever thought of a church built under the surface of the Earth?

The Salt Cathedral is the best example of such architecture. It is incredible architecture, beautifully carved out of tunnels once used for salt mining. Many describe a visit to this place as magical, and we think you should give it a try as well.

You mustn’t miss the Gold Museum in Colombia. The ancient civilians of this country associated gold with the almighty, so you will see infinite gold pieces displayed at the museum.

Cocora Valley is a beautiful region if you want to have a minimal balance between the wildlife and the flora. You will see that trees are lined up in perfect spaces and the advent of a few bird species.

San Agustín Archaeological Park shelters some of the best historical and religious monuments in the entire continent. It is an archaeological park that is ginormous in size and probably will take up a lot of time if you want to experience it with thorough understanding.

Parque Nacional Natural Tayrona is a highly exquisite natural area where people usually go for a walking trail. If you are willing to use some energy for walking, this place is for you.

5. The Beauty Of Philippines

The Philippines is one East Asian country that usually doesn’t get the hype it deserves for the amenities it offers its visitors.

Whether the friendly people, their culture, the main attractions, or the weather, all of it is packed with delight.

We suggest that you visit the Chocolate Hills, they get this name because of the colour of the hills which turns brown just like the chocolate during particular weathers.

Hinagdanan Cave is one of the most scenic spots in the archipelago country. And don’t worry—it isn’t dark and dirty like most caves; the sun illuminates the place, making visitors stare at it in awe.

Fort Santiago has vital historical significance in the country. Once you get there, you can find out more about it.

Kawasan Falls is frequently visited for swimming and sightseeing. The clear blue water and the picturesque space and facility to get there make it a convenient place to visit.

The Ayala Museum and all the artefacts and other things inside it depict the country’s history. It will be a good visit to learn a little about the museum.

You can also explore the various beaches in the Philippines. They are pretty popular. The most known ones include Gigantes, Iloilo, Bitaog, and Great Santa Cruz Island, Zamboanga.

6. Conclusion

These places won’t be as crowded as other tourist destinations with similar properties but get the majority of the hype. These are the best countries we can suggest for affordability and warmth in winter.

Combined with that, weather and cheap rates are not the only things they will offer; there is much more to it, like the culture, hospitable people, the experience of a new way of living, adventure, learning, and solace.
