Famous Farms in Wales

Here are some of the famous farms in Wales –

1. Foel Farm Park-

Foel Farm Park, despite being a small farm, is quite a good working family farm. This farm is located on the beautiful coastline of Menai Strait on Anglesey Island.

You can catch an enchanting glimpse of Caernarfon Castle and Snowdonia. Foel Farm Park is certainly the place for spending a quality family fun day.

Public visits are allowed in the park from June to November. Advance online booking is economical and recommended. However, you can go for the on-the-spot booking too.

Take a tour of the farm wildlife either by walking or enjoying a tractor ride, pony ride, or trailer ride. Visitors certainly have the chance to meet the animals and understand their behavior during the ride. Feed or pat them, show love and concern towards them. Let the kids feel the bond and also educate them.

Finally, indulge yourself in the taste of handmade chocolate from local artisans at Siocled Môn. You can also have a homemade meal at the restaurant and Cafe on the farm. A gift shop is also there, where you can buy souvenirs or food packs to feed the animals during your ride.

This Foel farm park is indeed a famous farm in Wales and certainly a good place for educational trips, school visits, or for hosting birthday parties for kids.

The Folly Farm Park is spread into huge 120 acres of land. It has a zoo, barn, adventure areas, and fairground within. As a result, this is a fun spot for all the people in the family. However, this farm in Wales is open throughout the year.

The farm has a zoo consisting of 750 animals. Take a tour to explore the animals present here. You can interact with the lovely farmyard animals at the barn. Let the children have a close look at the routine functioning of the farm. And grow affection and care towards the furry, feathery animals.

The park has a vintage fairground consisting of 17 types of rides. Enjoy the ride and have fun. There are big play areas also. They also have some adventurous tricks and games to encourage healthy physical activities.

The farm has accommodation facilities of different ranges too. You can choose budget camps or luxury lodges for your stay.

The park has introduced a new farm-theme Tractor country ride. Award-winning Twiga tents based on the giraffe theme of this park are the highlight. If you love pets, you can adopt a member of the family park.

3. Cefn Mably Farm Park

Cefn Mably Farm Park is located on the outskirts of South Wales but is an ideal farm in Wales for families. Either toddlers or teens will enjoy it here.

There are some fun rides, slides, and tunnels for kids. They can have fun on the tiny train or pony rides, too. There is an open-air play area, golf area, and winding go-kart circuit at the farm. Teenagers will love to try all.

An open marquee is there, where you can enjoy homemade cake with hot coffee.
