Before heading into Octoberfest, you need to understand what It is about! It is a 15- —to 16-day beer festival held every year in October, which includes so much fun and so much more! It’s primarily held in Munich, Germany, between September’s last week and October’s third week!

It all began when the prince married the princess on October 12th. Citizens were so happy, and they started this beer festival. It became so famous that people from all over the globe attended every year. You will be shocked after learning this, as per the reports. Every year, 6 lakh tourists come to Germany to attend this Octoberfest.

All by these, Octoberfest has become the most celebrated festival in Germany, especially in the last few decades, as more and more international travellers have been attracted to the festival thanks to tours, cheap flights, and better accommodation options.

You can expect a wild, no-holds-barred drinking festival. The majority of those Germans (they represent 85% of attendees). You’ll see just about everyone dressed up in traditional Bavarian clothes (lederhosen for guys, dirndls for girls), having a good time, and drinking lots and lots of beer.

You can enjoy their Brazilian food, sing, dance, laugh, and have a stress-free moment. Indeed, it’s a festival where new age festivals are almost two centuries old. So, let’s come to the good part of it.

1. Reaching and Then Getting Around Munich

Know More About Munich

Oktoberfest is performed on the famous grounds of Tharsini’s, just like every year! It’s so cosy and easy to plan everything for going out with your friends, so let us introduce something. You can apply for a tourist visa in Germany online. In Europe, you can visit every country with their visas; you don’t need to apply for separate visas, which is pretty cool!

After this trip, you can visit every European country separately with no extra charges. So, we will share a plan for the trip; pack your baggage, and feel free.

We might find an affordable flight with Air India, Lufthansa, Air Canada, or Emirates for regular flights from anywhere in the world to Germany and the UK!

You can log in to their website for booking purposes, and the proceeding will be straightforward! So these are things to do at Oktoberfest in Germany!

2. Tents at Oktoberfest

Camping and tents are the best part of it. You have visited a place with this kind of festival and must participate in it.

After dancing and partying, I think we couldn’t go home or to a hotel. Then you have to stay, and people do it by their own choice, too, so if you guys are friends or couples, you must go.

One more thing, guys: If you are with kids or parents, then obviously, you can’t enjoy the vibe, to be honest. We can assure you and your family that you will have fun with the same energy and vibe of your togetherness. So these are things to do at Oktoberfest in Germany.

Some tent contacts here to try:

Schottenhamel- The first keg of the festival is tapped here.

Pschorr-Bräurosl- One of the traditional and local spots, it has been managed by the Heide family for seven generations.

Hofbräu Festhalle- Mainly for international tourists.

Löwenbräu-Festhalle- A favourite for locals and tourists alike.

Augustiner-Festhalle- For the best beer!

Weinzelt- If you are in the mood for wine.

3. Pace Your Drinking

Before you enjoy your beer, let us tell you to hydrate yourself because it’s essential. Dancing and drinking beer so much is hard.

It’s best to pace yourself rather than too little or too much. Try some good foods and water and get maximum rest. We know that rest is impossible in Europe, but you have to. So, do try this before you get another round of beers!

4. Eating in Oktoberfest

You have come here for trade and national Bavarian beer but stay for the food. You will find a lot of food vendors and street foods that I’m sure you will drool over, so here are the must-try food items in the Oktoberfest or things to do in Oktoberfest Germany: bratwurst, pretzels, French fries, fairy floss, gingerbread, chocolate-covered fruit, roasted chickens, plates of sausages with mashed potatoes and assorted nuts.

There are options like veggie burgers for vegetarians. You will find vegan restaurants for vegans, too. So these are things to do At Oktoberfest Germany!

5. Drinking Like an Animal

It’s so typical, but I want to say Drinking like this means you guys have strong guts to roll up with the Drinking beer. The beer which is served at Oktoberfest is called Marzan.

It has about 6 per cent alcohol, which is a minimal amount, but it can make you dizzy for some time when you get extra! There are six particulars: Augustiner, Hacker-Pschorr, Hofbräuhaus, Löwenbräu, Paulaner, and Spaten.

The Germans are very particular about their beers, and I’m sorry, but be prepared for that! So these are things to do at Oktoberfest in Germany!

We want to bring here more things like about the consumption of alcohol in Germany you can drink it wherever you can, but there are some rules like don’t go clumsy on the road after having alcohol!

6. Dressing as a Bavarian

Men, women, and children will dress well at this festival, which has an Oktoberfest dress code valid for 18 days.

Men wear lederhosen, and women wear dirndls. Honestly, it’s a gem where you can spend time having a lot of fun, only relaxing and enjoying hours.

Meanwhile, Germans are particular about beer and dress codes. You can easily rent this dress from any local shop from there.

Fun and festival vibes are unbeatable. Plan a trip to Oktoberfest; apart from the festival in Germany, you have many things to do there; you can visit Berlin, go to the library, and then you can recan there.

7. Octoberfest Parades

Oktoberfest is very popular in Germany, and they celebrate it uniquely, so if you want to start this fest or give it a kick start, then parades are just for you!

So make sure you visit here on the first Saturday or Sunday cause it is the weekend for the off course; they feature many things like breweries and landlords roaming the streets in their classic, heritage style!

On Sunday, they blow your mind like creative floats and showcase their vintage-style costumes from all across Germany! With the dancing music and singing of the people around the marching bands, your experience will be on cloud!

8. Plan For a Family Day

It might be known for a not-so-family vibe fest, but it has something special for kids and families. Visit the ground festival on Tuesday, where you will find only a kid’s environment.

You can also get discounts, coupons, and special tickets for your kids. Some German memorable ride itself. Enjoy exciting activities here, like merry-go-round rides, water rides, and many fast food stalls. The family day would be extraordinary with this family day planning.

9. Visit English Garden

The English garden is safe if you feel crowded or need a break from people. It was founded in 1789 and is trendy in Germany. You can jog here, ride a bike, read books, relax under the tree, or do anything else.

Honestly, it is a considerable chance to sit over there and relax. You can spot ducks, geese, and squirrels along your ride in the park. Another exciting thing is that you will join the soccer team there, on the field, where you will watch players in action.

10. Have a Good Time in Munich

Spending a day with your partner, parents, and kids is always a blessing. Oktoberfest is an excellent chance to go there and feel the freshness, and visiting Europe is nothing that can better the dre. If it is good, then continue!

So, now that you’re familiar with the activities, it’s time to start the party. Come to Munich and be part of this epic event.

Conclusion

There are many ways to celebrate Oktoberfest in the office, from hosting beer-tasting sessions to playing Oktoberfest trivia.

Before you begin your celebration, we recommend decorating your office with banners, balloons, and artwork.

Putting up decorations will boost employees’ spirits as soon as they enter the office. So here is everything to do in Oktoberfest, Germany!
