11. House Of Tides

Enjoying an enviable scenery on the Newcastle Quayside, House of Tides was endowed with a Michelin star in September 2015 – it just received 18 months after its opening, making it the best place to eat in Newcastle.

You have been making it to the early Michelin-starred restaurant in Newcastle since 2000. House of Tides is a detailed British restaurant offering a set of exquisitely prepared dishes that change daily to reflect the availability of local produce, and you will soon come upon why it was worthy of such a high award.

12. The Broad Chare

A refurbished restaurant with an oak bar, painted brick walls, stripped wooden floors and an upstairs dining room. Such a decoration will not be found easily. Priding itself on providing ‘proper food and proper beer’, the Broad Chare is located on the Quayside and is certainly not your average Newcastle restaurant or bar.

Refined yet sleek and straightforward, the Broad Chare offers an extensive selection of real ales alongside a menu of hearty, ‘home-cooked’ dishes and bar snacks, with such pleasure as a Handraised Pork Pie, scotch eggs or cauliflower fritters – made with the decidedly finest local and seasonal techniques, this is as good as comfort food can get.

The Rio Brazillian Steakhouse has won the number-one spot venue as it has been in the hearts and stomachs of its customers since opening in 2019. In November, it opened the doors to its sister restaurant on Newcastle’s Quayside to rave reviews.

Its catch-up has been a hit with customers and received the restaurant people’s love since 2021. Many people have given their reviews about the place.

One person informed me that he was visiting this restaurant for the third time, and he had an outstanding experience during each visit as the lunch dishes were not only delicious, but they were different every time.

Aveika restaurant is one of the lovely places to eat in New Castle. This sushi restaurant offers a broad diversification of added fish for sashimi, nigiri, maki and speciality rolls. 16. Umai Mi Oriental Kitchen

The unique restaurant and bar encompass this genuine and fantastic concept of Umai Mi. Transmission of modern and chic dining specializing in Pan-Asian dishes, Umai Mi, is a brilliant mix of traditional and contemporary cooking that will take you away on a culinary tour, longing for the next bite.

At Porterhouse, it is all about the juicy and delicious meat.
